Realm Of Tastes
Teacurry's Kashmiri Noon chai boasts a luxurious, velvety texture that strikes a perfect balance between richness and drinkability. Infused with the enchanting scents of cardamom, saffron, and nuts, this tea transforms into a delightful elixir that resembles a milky dessert. Its flavor profile is a harmonious blend of sweetness and creaminess, providing a comforting and warm sensation that lingers. Teacurry Namkeen Tea Kashmiri takes pride in its natural hues; the deep red-pink color is achieved effortlessly with the magic touch of baking soda, eliminating the need for artificial colors.
Finest Pink Noon Tea
The pink hue in noon chai results from the interaction between chlorophyll in the tea leaves and baking soda. Cook the pink tea leaves sufficiently to ensure the release of all chlorophyll into the water. A small amount of baking soda is adequate for this purpose. The reaction may take about 30 minutes. If the water evaporates completely and the reddish color is not yet achieved, add more water and continue cooking. To intensify the color, introduce ice-cold water to shock the tea. Finally, incorporate 20 ml of milk to achieve the distinctive pink hue characteristic of noon chai.
How To Get Ready
Boil 1 cup of water (200-300 ml) and steep 2 grams of Kashmiri noon chai leaves until the mixture becomes frothy. Incorporate a pinch of baking soda and whisk for 15 seconds. Pour in another cup of cold water (200-300 ml) and introduce spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, and anise. Allow the tea to brew until it transforms into a vibrant red hue. Next, over medium heat, add 20 ml of milk and whisk vigorously to enhance frothiness. The color will deepen to a dark pink. Finally, season the tea with 0.5g of salt, stir well, and serve this delectable Kashmiri Samovar tea. Garnish with nuts and saffron to taste.
